Hi Cumbria - just catching up- hope you enjoy your friend's party tonight - sometimes after a busy week I often don't feel like making the effort to go out but once I'm there I invariably enjoy myself! I'm sure you'll have a good time.

Hope you have a great day out tomorrow as well!

Not much help on the vacuum front I'm afraid as I haven't bought one for ages!

Sometimes the best night's out are the ones you don't want to go to and the ones you really want to go to are the worst. I hope it turns out to be a lovely night out :)

Hope you had a nice night out, Cumbria. So often I commit to going out and then don't feel like it :rotfl:

As for hoovers, ours packed up at new year and we luckily had a £50 amazon voucher from a family member so we bought a "Hoover Whirlwind SE71WR02" which was just shy of £50. I think the suction is great and it's bagless. Some people said you have to empty it more regularly as it's got less capacity, but we've not found that to be an issue.

    Thanks Lilith for recommendation.

Had a really enjoyable time last night , saw people haven't seen in a long while. Wearing heels was like a gym workout . No money spent as soon bought me a couple of drinks , cheap date me lime and soda .

Up this morning to a lovely day , getting ready to spend day with another friend . Think I will sleep well tonight . Hope you all put your clocks forward.

    Enjoy the day .

Henry hoover is very good and when I got ours was just under £100. Was quite some years ago, maybe 15 years and still going strong. Also builders tend to use them so I guess they're robust.

Miele hoover very good but bags expensive. A bit heavy and cumbersome. There is a new lighter model out that keeps scoring very highly and it is bagless (but not cordless) Mine is an older version but after hoover shopping I will be cleaning, patching and keeping as it has good power.

Your evening sounded great Cumbria - very MSE too! I'm in heartfelt agreement though about the high heels!:(

Have an enjoyable day out today!
