Thank you for all your get well wishes , it means a lot. I am home , still coughing and voice not great but I can breathe again easily which is wonderful.
Am so thankful to the NHS , to the doctors who sorted me out, to the nurses run of their feet on a very busy medical ward but who always were positive. To my family and friends who have visited and made sure I had lots to read. I am looking forward to my own bed .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. It is a very cold day today, I have to see my GP today for follow up medicine if needed. I was awake most of the night with the incessant coughing, but do not feel like deaths door.
My plan today is to read the diaries I am subscribed to , and get my finances up to date , along with drinking copious amounts of hot water and lemon .
I have not spent a penny since Sunday morning so thati s good i suppose.
Apart from that , feeding myself on chicken soup , and washing up I will not be doing anything else. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Good morning
Yes, it's very cold here too however it looks bright with little frosty sparkles everywhere. Somehow life is a little easier with the Sun out.
I was so sorry to hear how poorly you have been. Let's hope the medics have sorted things and you are properly on the road to recovery.
As others have said, forget work and concentrate on getting fully fit.
Not sure if you like listening to the radio but I find it easier than TV when I'm unwell. On radio 4 extra I have found all sorts of series than remind me of my childhood as well as some great plays and books. For me it's reading a book without the hard work of actually reading! I can close my eyes and just listen, bliss.
Enjoy the chicken soup if you can, not so sure about the washing up.
Take care honey

Poor you - you've definitely got a big dose of something nasty.
I wish you could see the views I get from my dog walks - it would be so uplifting - all the fells have snow and it's so lovely.
OH and I had to go to Penrith and Keswick yesterday and it was gorgeous driving through the backroads. Freezing cold and somewhat treacherous underfoot obviously, and I was grateful for my free coffee in Booths!LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300
