Next episode next week I think, I'll post the linky when I find it (usually available for 30 days after broadcast).0 -
vfm, my book group liked Harold Fry, too. And the follow up, Queenie's story, the name of which escapes me.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

There is another book, what I suppose you would call a companion volume, by the same author.
I think it's called The Love Story of Miss Queenis Hennessy, and it's the same story, but told from her point of view rather than Harold's. A lot more comes out, and it's a great read. Very poignant.
I loved it!Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0 -

I've read three on iBooks and three on Kindle, plus one paperback - The True History. About Jamaica, it's a novel, though.
I do normally manage one a week, but I read a Stella Rimington on flight over to the USA and I don't have any other activities while here - apart from helping with the gorgeous boys.
Just about the start The Farm, by Tom Robb Smith, the guy who wrote Child 44.
Edit to add: read The Farm practically in a single sitting. Could not put it down. Luckily the boys otherwise occupied today.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

Finished Queenie Henessey today. An emotional roller coaster. Having read Harold Fry, the ultimate ending came as no surprise, however, the story getting there is truly Moving, Sad and heart rending stuff.
So, book 5 done.
Next book isNever put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
