Hope I can join love reading, most of my books downloaded on my Kindle were free. I have over 300 downloaded as I check out free books once a week, then at least I can always find a book to read, I take my Kindle everywhere.
The best book I have finished reading before Xmas was called Outlander by Diana Gabaldon and the 2nd book, these I did pay for it was recommended by a friend. There are 6 more books in the series not got these yet.
Its about a married woman who goes back in time and marries someone from that time 1743, thinking he died so returned to find out he didn't die.
A TV series was made for Amazon of these books.
I do read mainly thrillers, mystery and adventure books, but always open to suggestions.0 -

My Mum loves the Outlander series, she's on book 6 and still really enjoying them. She's got a bit obsessed! Welcome to the thread0 -
I started my second book yesterday, A Father's Claim by Kim Cates, and I'm already about a third of the way through it. I've had this book for many years ( I think my mum gave it to me, and she passed away over 15 years ago), so it's about time I read it. It's ok so far, but I will probably send it to the charity shop when I finish it, as I'm determined to read and get rid of some of my books.Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs
