EON "game" playing up again

Thanks Malc, The e-mail that I got did not ask me to reply to claim my prize, only congratulated me on the win and said they would check my details and when confirmed a voucher would be posted to me within 30 days.!

I have raised a query seeking clarification, my cumulative total of wins has shown up again to-day.

All very strange, I will let you know if I hear anything.

The competition closed on 8 January 17 and winners of the £1500 will be drawn about 20 working days after this. We'll let winners know within 5 working days of the draw and they'll have 15 working days to claim.

Reply received to-day apparently the e-mail from E-On was sent in error so no prize for me.
Would like to know how a computerised system sends out an erroneous e-mail?

Malc. Can you pass on my annoyance and distrust regarding the way E-On has conducted this prize draw.

That's the way it goes sometimes Lord Baltimore. The competition was open to all our customers and the winners were chosen entirely at random. Other things like addresses weren't considered. With competitions like this, random selections are the fairest way of choosing winners.

Hope you're not too disappointed if you didn't win a prize this time round Lord Baltimore.
