My sentiments exactly - I have been reading & enjoying hearing what you have all been up to - I guess sometimes I feel like I don’t have anything worthwhile to contribute
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas 🎄🥂 xx0 -

That's never stopped the rest of us!!:D:rotfl:
Looking forward to new goals in 2018.
Happy Christmas all.:xmassmile0 -
Please never think you have “nothing to contribute”. I’m always agog to see what you are all up to.
Share your hopes and dreams with us, we can all help and support each other and maybe help them come true.
Which brings me to the usual pre Christmas pep talk. :rotfl:
Enjoy yourselves, don’t fret over calories. Give yourselves a break and permission to just have some fun without feeling guilty.
If you eat too much so what it’s Christmas. If you’ve spent too much, don’t panic you can get back to frugal living in January. Whilst some of our relatives might drive us crazy .....it’s only a couple of days. Take a deep breath, stay calm and smile.
Remember ladies - you don’t have to turn up for every argument. Just let it all float over your heads.
Channel your Inner Goddess and let “serenity” be your watchword.
If that doesn’t work......well theres always that bottle of gin.......:rotfl:0 -
Merry Christmas everyone.0

I hope you all had a nice Christmas. I’m back in work tomorrow - OH is off this week, so I said I’d have a couple of days next week to cover the rest of the school holidays.
We had a nice Xmas and Boxing Day. I got some lovely presents. I’ve worn the same gold sleepers for about 10 years and I kept telling myself to get a new pair, but always forgot (I mean, you can’t see your ears!). I found a nice pair in a jewellers so OH bought them for me for Xmas. I definitely want to get some more now.
I’ve also ordered some new trainers online. My one and only pair broke earlier in the year and whilst it’s been a great excuse not to exercise, I need to do something! OH said he would get me s pair for Xmas, but I insisted on waiting for the sales. The ones I was eyeing up weren’t reduced, but they had ones in a different colour (same style) which were £30 off, so I ordered those.0 -
Hello Ladies,
I had a good visit with my brother and he was really grateful for his Christmas presents from me and my 2 children and for the money I was able to give him. One of my other sisters also gave him money as his Christmas present, so we ensured that he could afford to buy himself good fresh meat and seasonal vegetables.
I had a very chilled family Christmas this year.I did the big Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve, as my eldest son and his 2 daughters were able to come and visit us on that day.
We played Connect 4, Pictionary and this Alphabet memory game. We all had fun and there was lots of laughter. :j
My son contributed a large boneless leg of lamb and the pigs in blankets to Christmas Eve dinner. He absolutely loved the dinner when it was served up to him and he was very complimentary about my cooking skills, which left me glowing with pride. :T My eldest son is a Chef, so I have to make more of an effort when he will be eating my cooking.
My grandson came in the late afternoon of Christmas Eve.He loved his dinner and wanted more, but there was none left. He had planned to spend Christmas Day and Boxing Day with his Dad, but those plans fell through at the last minute.
My grandson was really upset, but luckily he decided to stay with us instead and we were glad to have him.
My oldest daughter and her husband had the worst Christmas, both in chronic pain, ill and they had no appetite for food.My daughter has been ill for more than 3 weeks and her husband for only a week plus, and they are being told by Doctors that it is just a viral infection. My daughter's chest and throat are very bad. Her voice is very croaky and hoarse. It is painful for her to speak, so when I called her on Christmas Day I had to cut the call short before 10 minutes had gone by.
I am very worried about the both of them.
