    Hello again!

Another UU. It should have gone a while ago, TBH.

Fibre Extreme Black Lengthening Mascara. WIBA? Not a chance. No lengthening here, despite the name. I think I got it free with a magazine and I can see why people wouldn't want to pay for it.
    Please call me 'Pickle'

  • Finally UU Ted Baker body scrub that lasted months!
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • Tossed out lidl razors, the only thing they cut was skin. i had several quite deep cuts from the blades. avoid them. they cut a few points on the one swipe. I threw the remainder out. These are the worst i have every tried.
  • Just had a lovely weekend with a friend and stayed in a beautiful spa hotel. Used the toiletries whilst there but didn't bring any back with me.

    Have some UU:
    - Aromatherapy Associates Rose Hand Cream Mini - loved this! Was given by a friend who gets them occasionally as freebies, so am praying they offer me some more.
    - A!di Cleansing Wipes - WMBA - bought these whilst on holiday last month, not special but did the job.
    - Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 130 - WBA but in a lighter shade. This was slightly too dark, must have bought it whilst I had a tan! Loved the foundation though.

    Plus a TA:
    - Rimmel BB Cream in Medium - WNBA - had been using this for a while but then applied recently and noticed how bad it made my skin look and didn't feel that great whilst wearing it. Gave it another couple of attempts but ended up washing it off before leaving the house. Colour was also slightly too dark, have the lighter colour somewhere in my stash which I will also TA when I come across it.

    And an eBay sale:
    - Too Faced Eye Shadow Palette - with 12 shadow colours I knew I wouldn't get round to using.

And a few IN's, paid for by my friend on our visit to the £ shop:
    - Make Up Gallery Nail Polish in Latte - picked up a pink colour on a whim previously and was surprised by the quality of the polish, it looked good and had great staying power / didn't chip.
    - Micellar Water Wipes x2
    - Nail Polish Drying Spray
    - Ciat! Feathered Manicure Kit - bit of a find for the £ store. I love Ciat! nail polish normally and this contains a mini pot in Snow Virgin and standard size Speed Coat Pro top coat, plus some nail scissors which I will use when I tint, shape and trim my eyebrows.

Well done on your weight loss. I returned to Weight Watchers and lost 4.5lbs last week. Hoping to lose a stone by the time we go away in 12 weeks.

Thanks and congrats on your 4.5lbs loss!

You're well on the way to that stone!

I'd assume so. Also you would at least know it is not arriving from somewhere in Asia.
I would check the reviews especially 1 & 2-star ones if there are any, the best way to see what people complain about. It annoys me that a lot of people write reviews on Amazon in exchange for free products - you read that glowing review and only at the bottom, there is a line that they received the product for free/discounted in exchange for a review. There should be a system to mark those, something like "verified purchase".

I think i'm put off Amazon, especially as we are talking no more than three or four pounds saving.

What I want costs £51.35 at Elysian, £58.90 at allbeauty, £59.55 at perfumeclick, £47.10 at FragranceX and £54.90 at FragranceDirect so I must make a decision as it's taking up too much of my time.

It's £67.49 at The Perfume Shop and £80 at Boots, so it makes sense to buy online.

I will make an inventory of what I have next week when I am off work and see if I can work through that, but I do need my Eau De Toilette's - I currently have two but like to have four for different days/occasions.
    Weight Loss - Start (21st September 2016) 13st 10lbs, Current 10st 10lb (20th August 2017) :j

    Target 11st 3lbs - Completed :D

New target - lose remainder of fat and gain muscle

My policy with disposable razors is to buy own brand, but buy the second cheapest option. I often find the cheapest does result in the bathroom looking like Sweeney Todd has paid a visit.

2 more UUs for me tonight

Nivea in shower moisturiser - WDBA. I know it's expensive for what it is, but it's so quick and handy - particularly in this cold weather. The last thing I want to do is stand with no clothes on putting moisturiser on!

Beauticology vanilla frosting body butter - WDNBA. Was part of a gift set from last year, it's so so sweet that I wouldn't use it again. I emptied it onto my feet who are feeling a bit neglected at the moment!

Taking me up to 12 outs this month so far, and no ins - resisted the body shop sale in the Trafford Centre today!

I've managed to avoid January sales so far but did pick up a pack of baby wipes and make-up removal pads in Boots clearance several days ago so that's 2 INs.

    UU

Peacocks Strawberry Lip Balm 4.5g - Had this for a couple of years, using on and off. It worked pretty well although it was a bit tingly. There are other brands I prefer so WNBA. Have replaced with another balm with only a couple of uses left so hopefully that will go soon.

Almost used up - mini body lotion, shower gel, simple toner and Herbal Essences conditioner.

  • Hi SFT,

I definitely shop out of boredom but also more being sad, which incidentally I did yesterday!

It sounds like you have some lovely products and know what works for you. Sometimes it is a it that pampering isn't it! I know what you mean when I finally slow down a bit and shop from my stash and use products I know I love I feel the benefit too. Is Luna good by the way? I have Juno but I wish I'd bought Artemis actually, which was my original plan but I was swayed otherwise. You're right at least we're not splashing on cars or spas! Although I'm cross at myself as I am £100 overdrawn and I'm trying to be totally debt free and save and I'm a lowish earner so saving takes forever. I also had a large bill.

I have three ins from yesterday. I got charmed in lush (they're all so damn charming aren't they!!!)
-Pines Shower Jelly, definitely did not need but I liked the smell
    - Wicky Magic Muscles - same and have had before and liked
    - Soak and float shampoo bar - only one I really needed as shampoo will run out fairly soon and I know I like lush shampoo bars and they last well

Going to try and avoid town for a while.
