So maddening about bathgate! The ramble sounds amazing though. It really sounds like you live in an amazing area - and appreciate it. Good to have wins like the swimming lessons - but I agree everyone home all the time is playing havoc with the food bill!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

It`s a good job I`m not near the ex as I`d be done for murder! Definitely this is aggressive behaviour.....
It`s a long time since I made this recipe but `less is more` so shape and try to roll as little as possible. Try it...it wont bite!7 -
HSL - our dog is about knee height so not super tiny but not the kind of shoulder height you can otherwise get in a full sized labradoodleAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

My hint for scones is to look at how many the dough is supposed to run to, and halve it.
What a pain your ex is being, I'm glad you have the lovely countryside to escape to.
I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

So annoyed about your ex HSL - I know that there will be very little else that can be done at the moment, but is there a plan? Is the mediation going to continue? I'm so annoyed on your behalf. Not giving up

Thank you CCL, SH, Jan & Cherryfudge.
The mediator wrote to the ex ( at this address as we have no other!), so I know he got it. She heard nothing and wrote a second time saying if she didn’t hear within so many days she would assume that he wasn’t interested in engaging with mediation. On the last possible day it seemed, he rang the mediator. He does have a smart phone but says he can’t do mediation via Skype or zoom so it looks like I’ll have to wait until the lockdown finishes.
In MSE news, I’ve made a regular payment to a debt so £72.42 less in debt than I was.
I’m amazed at how many CPD opportunities are available on line at the moment. I’m booked onto one this evening, which sounds interesting and will allow me to record that on my CPD record.
Before that, hoping t get as much washing and sowing done 😀.

Thank you Pollie & SH.
I was able to get a fair amount of gardening done yesterday, mainly p*icking out seedlings and potting on.
Visiting Mr T’s was not a pleasant experience. I’d been going at 7.30 ish in the evening and so far had been able to walk straight in, after instructions from the security guard. Tonight there was a queue of 15 people deep to get in 😳. Everyone outside was keeping the 2m distance. Apparently since our last visit, only a set number are allowed in at any one time. It makes sense. Once inside it was strictly one way which threw me as there are some aisles I don’t usually go down! Most people were trying really hard to keep the 2m distance except one couple for whom social distancing must have meant something different. They had little regard for other people in the aisle🙁. The checkout lady was cheerful but said she’d served people who were basically on holiday in 2nd homes. I was glad to get out and get home. I’d been in my gardening bubble and visiting Mr T’s brought me into a sharp reminder of why we are all ( mostly) adhering to these new rules.

HSL
I'm divorced from my daughter's father. I know you're at a slightly different point in the process, but I've sent him this. If parents disagree, one parent may exercise their parental responsibility by saying no to something they consider unsafe, which I guess this is as you have no idea where or with whom he lives, let alone what social distancing measures he's observing. https://www.judiciary.uk/announcements/coronavirus-crisis-guidance-on-compliance-with-family-court-child-arrangement-orders/4
