    Chocolate Tiffin

8 oz biscuit crumbs - I use ginger biscuits.

    4 oz butter/marg

    2 oz sugar

    1 tablespoon syrup

    1 tablespoon cocoa

    Cooking chocolate

Melt butter, sugar  syrup and cocoa in a large pan.  Stir in the  biscuit crumbs.  Mix well. Put into greased shallow tin/square tin. Press down and allow to cool.

Melt choc and place on top.   Avoid MW as it tends to burn.  I use a small pyrex dish set over gently simmering water. Add a small amount of syrup to the chocolate while melting it.  When set cut into pieces.  Nuts or sultanas can be added for a change.
