Really pleased with my progress this weekend. My husband has got rid of a few of his things too and I've got a few bits listed on Gumtree and eBay, so fingers crossed there will be more to add to the list soon if they sell :beer:0 -

The charity shop round the corner from me is open today, so two bags full went round today, hopefully a bag of stuff for ragging and another bag to go today as well. I'm hoping that it will look like I have got rid of a lot of things soon!Declutter 2025 in 2025 0/20250

So with my 3 days off work due to the bank holiday weekend, I did some things!
Not really decluttering, but more moving things about. But this has helped to put everything together in one place, help us see what we have of a certain group of items etc.
I made a small "beauty corner" in my room between my bed and my wardrobe. This meant going down stairs to salvage a very small table we've had for years from the living room that was just stacked up with other tables in the corner, draping a towel over the top of it(partly to make it look pretty, partly so I don't mark the top of the table or get it dirty), then using my various storage solutions and arrange things nicely on the top of the table and store things that I don't need every day under the table.
This meant collecting up every single cosmetic, beauty item, health item, you name it that I own, putting it all on the bed, and sorting through it to decide what goes on the table, and which item goes into which box under the table(remember me saying before - I have one for shower gels, one for face stuff and one for moisturisers, and then the big box.)
I also have a small box in the bathroom with the face items I'm using currently, where I have also placed the moisturiser I'm currently working on so I'll be sure to use it when getting out the shower at least
The top of the table is a bit full up at the moment, but some products serve the same purpose but are slightly different(for instance, one heat protect hair product is an oil spray and the other is a serum). It's all opened and part used though, so I want to use them all up before moving on to the sealed items.
I also managed to clear a drawer in the desk by moving all of my items over to my "beauty corner".
I moved my computer tower up onto the top of the desk which has meant the 3 shelves on that side of the desk are all being used to store computer bits and bobs now.
I'm really going to knuckle down and use every item religiously now though. I can already see my face things in the bathroom going down0
