Yes ok so it's a right off the A40 if I recall towards Westfield then left at Shepherd's Bush station down the straight bit so Hyde pk will be on my right?
Yes that's right.
If the traffic is heavy, you have the option of travelling south to Kensington (By Harrods) or through Hyde Park which will both end up taking you to Hyde Park Corner (The big round about at the bottom of Park Lane)
This may be a good option if Park Lane is busy, check the traffic on google traffic.
As I said earlier, I would avoid driving up Picadilly / Picadilly Circus and just drive up Victoria Street which finishes at Westminster Abbey / Parliment which is at the bottom of Whitehall0 -
