Ds has gone to his Dads for the week now, I am planning on a lazy afternoon, followed by an evening watching footie as the Premier League starts again today :j :j

Anyway, as I'm all up to date with my surveys I thought I might just venture back into the world of competitions. I haven't entered any for a few years, I've set up a new email address that will just be for competition stuff, I'm going to make myself a cup of tea, put some music on and have the afternoon in the conservatory reminding myself how to do it at all and get organised, and then start entering away ;):)

I'm very excited the footies back too, it's felt like ages this year!

So, I get a text from ds this morning to say Dads new baby was born last night - please tell me if I'm being unreasonable cos I really dont think I am .... Dad and gf went to the hospital during the night while ds was asleep, and left him at home on his own  At this stage I'm not sure how long it was for, but he woke up on his own and then her parents came round a few minutes later?! It's all a bit vague at the moment as its text messages and he's now at the hospital with his Dad. I can't believe he didn't get her parents to come round with him or take him with them to the hospital if nothing else could be arranged?? He's 14 so not really really young, but knows no-one in the area, has only been to the house about 10 times before, I wouldn't leave him here on his own at night!!

It will go one of two ways; either I will get a text saying he wants to come home early (fine, am happy with that) or he will put up with it all week and then have a huge meltdown when he gets home about how bored / ignored he was all week. My moneys on the latter option  Ds desperately wants his Dad to be a good dad and will give him chance after chance. Then he'll return home fed up and upset next week. I also think ds will be shipped off to his grandparents for some of the week too.

Meant to say thanks Stressedaah30, I'm glad I'm not being a neurotic crazy mother - he makes out that I am just jealous cos he's got a new partner / baby. No, I'm concerned for the welfare of my child

Morning all, I had a lovely night out with friends last night, still woke up at silly o'clock this morning though :o

Today I am going with the flow, I want to crack on with some of my list, I want to watch the footie later, I want to try and relax a bit as I feel stressed, I can't explain it really but I have that knot feeling in my tummy and I don't know why really. I might take the dog for a walk along the beach later if the weathers good.

I do need to get a grip on the banking today, I feel like it's got out of control this month, not being at work means there are so many more random expenses than normal; more petrol, lots of drinks and snacks here and there etc.

Chilling hasn't happened too much as yet - I went upstairs and pulled everything out of my wardrobe / cupboard and have rehomed stuff, sorted the boxes at the top that hadn't yet been unpacked, sorted under my bed. This has generated a bag of rubbish, a bag of car boot bits, a bag of stuff that needs to be put away downstairs and a pile of bits for ebay which I have just photographed and listed :D

Time now to sit and watch the footie for a bit ;)
