Hello MoneySavers,
as per title- jobless and car insurance is already at a high premium.(£600)
Is there a way if they can check if I am at work?
How badly insurance would increase, if I was to say, that I am currently unemployed?
I expect to find a job in a 2-3, 4 max months time, after the opp, just bit anxious not get in to a serious problem as declined insurance or that premium would increase so much, that I couldn't afford.
Thanks,

Sorry to hear your news.
I guess the issue is what happens if you had to claim, and they turned you down.
Maybe do some anonymous searches - perhaps for a similar car, in a similar area with and without job?0 -

Anybody would know as by how much it changes?
I mean, should I risk it... or got to park up the car for good...
I think, I still could afford £600 moneys on the day, but honestly- if vehicle is uninsured and I loose use of car, that'll be very unbearable, esp where I live...0 -

Can you do some voluntary work until you get a job? You could then legitimately put yourself as a volunteer, which should be lower than putting down unemployed.0
