M4 speed camera incident

Mine doesn't have wifi, I just connect it to my computer with a USB cable. I would think that most dash cams allow that, but any that don't the card can be taken out and read to allow files to be transferred. If you can't get the files off them then there's little point in having one.0

I suppose the idea is that you keep your rolling (say) two days' worth on the card, but download and save it if you have a specific reason (such as a mysterious flash in your rear-view mirror). I certainly wouldn't do it every day.If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0

WiFi data transfer from DashCams can be painfully slow. You could bring the dashcam in and plug it into the computer transfer the files, watch a film and refit it in less time than it takes for a wireless transfer.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

It looks like it was a flash for someone else or a camera error. The incident was on the 21st December and I've had nothing through. I suppose there have only been eight working days since then though.0

I've had a similar thing happen on the M25 and I put it down to someone on the opposite carriageway being flashed. It is very startling when it does happen as it leaves you confused as to whether the speed limit had changed and you failed to notice it.0 -

Working days don't matter: the NIP has to be served on the keeper withi 14 calendar days, so 4th January was the cut-off.0 -

Could have been a test or a speed change (which does not usually result in a ticket).
Since the cameras have been shown to be inaccurate they take two photos and rely on the lines on the road, showing you covering so many meters in so many seconds. Thanks, don't you just hate people with sigs !0 -
Thanks all. I didn't receive anything in the end.0

Where does it say they are inaccurate? The lines on the road are merely a secondary form of measurement to back up the evidence.0 -
It would be interesting to know if anyone here has got a speed ticket whilst driving on the motorway and for what speed. I average 85mph and have never got a ticket, though I slow down when the variable speed limit is in place. On the M25, I comfortably drive at 95mph at times and never have got a ticket.
With that said, I see people zoom right past me going in excess of 100mph with no regards for the speed cameras. I don't know whether they get tickets or not but would be interested in hearing if people here have got tickets and for what speed.0
