Lovely to 'see' you PRINCESSKITTY, your week away sounds lovely. How is the bump progressing? Is Wiggle excited at the prospect of being a big brother?

VULPIX ouch to your fall. I know what you mean about the packing, I'm itching to get going but scared to start in case the sale falls through and we have to go back on the market. Our buyer's surveyor is coming tomorrow so once that's out of the way (assuming all is ok of course) I'll make a start. I keep thinking of where things will fit when we move - I was horrified at how much wardrobes cost, we had fitted ones put in here and in our previous house so haven't bought any for years. Hope you made it to the craft group.

FREE that's fabulous news about DD2, I'm so pleased for her it must be a huge relief.

JENNY sorry to hear you're poorly, hope it goes away soon and you feel much better. You're doing brilliantly with the decluttering.

With a bit of encouragement from MURIE I'm giving Instagram another go so apologies in advance if any of you get strange messages from me, I'm still finding my way around it and I tend to press things and find I've done something but I don't know what :D

Morning campers! Just rushing in quickly.

Was sorting out what I have bought for Christmas etc & have spotted that Aliexpress have a sale on at the moment. If you have not used it before, it is a Chinese site, with a lot of cheap stuff. Most is posted, so snail delivery, but as there is plenty of time to Christmas, you may pick up a couple of bargains.

Was in M&S last night & picked up a couple of boxes of 665g chocolate truffles instead of Easter eggs, they are 1/2 price at £6, so much better value than eggs!

Was thinking about Feisty last night, anyone heard from her?

I have just lost half a day on Aliexpress lol but got a few things .

Yay, it's the Easter holidays! Lookigm forward to our caravan holiday on Monday and drinking lots of wine .

I have actually wrote a few posts, including one 2 nights ago, but I hit previous thread instead of post and lost them. I gave up writing them again. Can't even remember what I wrote.

    hi,
mum and dad just offered me use of their caravan for few days. defo the boost I need x
  • Hi all, hope you’re well. My sickness has made a bit of a comeback in the last week and I was physically sick again on Friday so trying to take it easy – as much as I can with a toddler and house to look after! Wiggle is at nursery this morning so just having a sit on the sofa. DH and I had a nice day at a spa on Saturday for our fourth wedding anniversary – I can’t believe it’s been four years already! I know it isn’t that long really but we popped back to our wedding venue when we were on holiday and it felt like we were only there a few months ago! Time does fly.

I’ve been trying to do some bits in the garden whilst it’s been nice, we’ve decided not to dig any borders in the garden whilst the children are young as I’m sure they’ll just get destroyed! I’ve bought some pots and put plants in them, although the flowers seem to be in bloom for much less time than I thought, I’m sure I can’t keep buying pots and putting plants in to have flowers all the time! I’m really not very good at this gardening malarkey…. :p Any tips welcome!

freespirit I’m so glad to hear your DD’s op has worked for now, long may it continue!

Trendyjenny I hope you feel better now. I do love a caravan holiday! Have a lovely time.

Peppa yes Wiggle is excited about the baby, he likes babies! Apparently if he gets a bit upset at nursery they will take him for a walk upstairs to where all the babies are! He kisses and cuddles my bump a lot and is always talking about the baby having his old cot and chair and that he wants to help look after it. I sincerely hope that is the case when the baby comes along!

Nic I hope you have a lovely holiday, fingers crossed you get good weather!

Afternoon everyone, i cant believe i haven't been on for 6 days where does the time go? Nothing really happening here, we started the gardening on sunday and have now drained the dreaded pond :jjust need to get the dregs out where the pump wouldnt go low enough. I also cleaned all the back windows and while i was doing it i went through the rotting decking and fell over into a pile of old wisteria clippings, i jarred my back and have a nice big black toe :rotfl:honestly i cant believe DD1 didnt go into hysterics, falling over is getting to be a habit over the last few years (and no drinks involved either)

VULPIX how are you after your fall? Has your bruising gone down now?

PRINCESSKITTY im so sorry your sickness has come back you must be so drained with it, but i hope the day at the spa rejuvenated you, congratulations on your wedding anniversary

I hope everyone is well x

Wow, what is it with you guys and falling over? Hope everyone is recovering from your various tumbles and glad nothing is seriously damaged. I am also in the black toe brigade but that was from my last 1/2 Marathon so totally self inflicted - by my reckoning it will be fully recovered by the next one :rotfl:

    Free
    - so pleased to hear that DD2 op seems to have worked - you do hear so much on here that puts minor grumbles into perspective, her's is deff one that does that. Wishing her well x

We've been out in the garden here too - mowed the moss (sad lack of grass atm) and looks a lot better. We're also mid-quote stage for a paved area - OMG I am in the wrong job based on quotes so far  Really having to rethink what we want vs what is sensible and where we can adjust to save £.

So, no xmas stuff going on but that's fine, I'm not wishing time away just yet.
