Hi CCL it is one of the Olympics ones, there is one currently on ebay for £1.81. Quite collectable. Always good to keep an eye on your change.
    That's interesting to know - thanks f0xh0les

2 sandwiches from leftovers business lunch: one for me tomorrow (€1) and one for dh's lunch tomorrow (€3,50). The sandwiches are actually the same, but dh typically buys himself lunch for €3,50, while I bring my own lunch to work for €1 (or less).

2 tiny individual packets of butter 2x€0,05.

  • Work womble today = 4 left over sausages which ds had for his tea with bubble and squeak, good quality so I'm claiming 75p

Also have just been to pick up a free second hand leather sofa to replace ours which the leg had fallen of. In pretty good nick but the woman just wanted rid as she is taking delivery of a new one tomorrow. Not sure what to put as value but I would happily have paid 50 quid ( and I won't spend a quid if I can get away with 50p!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) so I'm claiming that :)

Crafty Witch getting a free leather sofa is a great womble. Lucky you!

I bought 4 black and 2 navy windproof umbrellas on BOGOF promotion for £29.97 on eBay and saved myself £29.97 :T

It was snowing in London today so I used one of these umbrellas that I bought on eBay last year and was astonished at just how effective it was at keeping me dry and it did not even quiver let alone buckle or turn inside out in the driving sleet and snow. I just thought that I had better be prudent and buy more of them. :D

  • yesterday managed to womble a sun holidays token and the pull out piece so saved 50p and also the price of not selling my soul to the Murdock corp is priceless :)
