Well this morning I received yet another ridiculous letter from B W Legal. It is as though they are operating in a parallel universe from each other.
The letter is basically one they send out before court action, i.e. a veiled threat that should I refuse to pay they will take me to court?
Strange considering that today is their last day to pay the court fee for the court case to proceed to the hearing stage?
I`m not sure how they operate, but the descriptions of incompetence on the Pranksters website do seem to apply to B W Legal.
I will check in the morning to see whether they have actually paid the court fee and report back.

Does it have the same PCN number and all? They are losing the plot!

  • At the top, it states `Letter of Claim`.
Yes it has the same PCN!
Instead of ANPR, it now just says `camera`.
They have given me until 16th January 2017 to pay?
I will check this morning to see if they paid the court fee and let you know.
  • My mistake. They paid the hearing fee back in December.
Case is due to be heard 27th February 2017.

OK, so you have filed your Witness Statement in time but the other side missed it? Good.

When it eventually turns up late, you can send a letter to the presiding Judge this month to tell them that you see this late WS from BW Legal as indicative of contempt for the court process, by a firm/claimant who issue tens of thousands of claims and should know better.

I would then throw in (if you have not already) the stuff about Simon Renshaw-Smith apparently discrediting a Stockport Judge in 2011. Bearing in mind your local court is also Stockport I would certainly want to remind the Judge in your case, about that. Search the forum for 'DJ Lateef Cutts case' to find Mr Renshaw-Smith's quoted words if you have not already included mention of it in your defence or Witness Statement.

Seize the chance to disabuse your Judge of any assumption that this claimant is the 'innocent party' here. Dirty tricks? Yes. Fair? Yes.

OK - that is a shame. You have no reason to remind Stockport court of the Cutts case and Simon Renshaw-Smith's words then. But I would in any case take with you in Feb, a printout of the Cutts transcript anyway and the article by Martin Cutts 'Phoney Fines & Dodgy signs Take Drivers for a Ride' and if you get the chance, mention Excel's words about DJ Lateef and say how shocked you were to read it - if you can bring that in somehow!
