No body is getting the bargains they want. This includes Boots the Chemist. My bezzie works at B&Q and they are putting a night shift on for 4 weeks. This is to change all the price labels with the new prices and they are all going UP!!

I don't think its down to brexit myself however there is more onus on staff managers to get things right, hence supply and demand.. Manager of a store overorders prices are slashed in a sale onus is on him to keep his store in profit.


Hence very little on line this year at 70 off .. The stores that have a massive amount in the sale I imagine their managers will be hauled over the coals this year.. Personally I think the bubble has burst for the boots sale a victim of its own success.


That said good luck all all I hope you get some bargains... Me I have just bought a few bits at 50 off and with discounts and extra points made it just about worth while

Except that store managers don't order their own stock. It is done centrally.

The decision was made to move stock into store for the sale and off online

Went to my local today and there was LOADS. About ten aisles at the whole back of the shops upstairs. Lots of S&G, reiss, laura ashley, no 7, French connection, yankee candle, jamie oliver, st tropez, zoella, ted baker, topman, nandos and starbucks. Jack wills and tweenagery makeup and cups and bits and bobs then totes slippers and scarves and finally the fillers like lynx and brut and bench.Lots of each thing too, more than we had in last years sale. I'll definitely be hoping to get my bargains, just hope theres not too many people there!

There will always be someone that will blame every bad thing on Brexit but will stay very quiet when good things start to happen :cool:

Anyway back on subject of the Boots Sale which is what this thread is about.

I am not going this year as I cant stand the shoving, pushing and rudeness of it all. So for that reason, I am out !
