I am going to Bristol this afternoon and will have a reccy and report back. You can usually tell when you are there by how the shelves have been compacted down.

    Was there much in Bristol

  • I don't think I'll bother with the Boots sale this year, I'm fed up with all the hype.
I popped in to my local store today and they had an aisle end of clearance goods, I picked up a Sanctuary candle for £2.50 and a travel sonic toothbrush for £5. Last week I got 2 bottles of Time Delay Micellar water for 50p each, they're what I call bargains as I will use them all.

Went to Boots in Broadmead and although there was a lot of sale stuff in Boots not much worth buying. For a start when did Zoella and Super Dry make cosmetics ( yes I know Zoella has a cosmetics line) To my mind not a lot of good stuff and one side of the display is right by the stairs and not a lot of room to move. Will be interesting tommorow when the scavengers arrive. Anyway cured my need for boots sale so wont be going!!

By chance I am off for the rest of the week from today. Initially I only booked tomorrow off, but both parents going into hospital within 3 weeks of each other, meant I added some extra days to help them out, so can do whichever day until Monday.

I did muse some posts back that I could see Boots changing its day, but I did think that would be in future years.

I'm like another poster though. I only want stocking filler items for the teenagers in the family.
