Am I the only person that's doing this with an old fashioned pedometer? No idea about floors:rotfl:

Yes, but you you can largely ignore the floors number, or just pick a random number, its not too dissimilar.

I only know my ascent as my watch has an altimeter based on barometric pressure built in which tracks when i run.

Bit of damage limitation going on this week.... feeling better but stress levels at work still through the roof. Going to be speaking with the boss tomorrow about it (he has been away last couple of weeks) as people are expecting far too much from me!

Only 13 weeks left until the end of the challenge!

but I know that work is about to ramp up even more in the next week or so and I am going to be rather drained.... what I don’t want to do is get to the stage where I am fully burnt out otherwise its just not healthy.

No point doing too much, it really doesn't pay off in the end, it just makes your body give in.

out of principal I run for 1 hour each day to a max of 3 days in a row (3 days exercise then 1 day off), even if I feel ok I still wont run 4 days in a row

    Good advice!

1491 miles at the end of September. So I'm around 9-10 miles behind where I should be. Away in the southern office last week for three nights, so long commute there and back, work during the day, take customers out in the evening - they are all nice, so I don't mind - but altogether it does mean no walking.

And Premier Inn beds - like sleeping on a (S):pplank of wood:mad:

    Hello Peeps!

Just reporting in that I managed to complete the 2017 miles sometime on 2 Oct 2017. A couple of big hikes last weekend got me over the line.

Mid-East is now cooling down nicely. Only mid 30's during the day. Should enable me to increase my walking quite a bit. However, I don't think I will be able to hit wizard's 3k goal by the end of the year. If I can reach 2700 miles I will be pleased.
