I’m now Day 2 of my week off and it involved some retail therapy. I saved around £30, through bargain hunting (discounted car parking and some sale items). I’m now relaxing before going to collect thr children from school.

£9 saved on the Body Shop on skincare, including a £5 reward voucher.

£8 saved in Boots, including a stocking filler for DD.

Tomorrow, me and OH are off to see a show in the West End and I saved £30 on thr tickets.
  • Well done on the savings and enjoy the show.
  • Chanie you have started off saving well in 2019 on your purchases :D

Saved nearly £60 in the Gap sale, through buying a few items for DD. I do love their end of sales for basic items and I was pleasantly surprised when the cashier told me that I would get an extra 25% off.

Costco had an offer on Build—a-bear vouchers, so I paid £70 for £100 worth of vouchers. Two of the vouchers will be for family children, who have birthdays coming up. The other two vouchers will be for our children.

In Costco, I stocked up on pasta, rice and a few other items. I jokingly call it my ‘brexit stockpile’, but I always bulk buy these items anyway!

This weekend, has been very productive, if I do say so myself. Me and OH ended up doing a deep clean of a couple of rooms in the house. It wasn’t planned, but soooo satisfying. I even had to stop midway through to stock up on extra cleaning products.

I also stocked up on greetings cards whilst In town. I like to buy my cards at the beginning of the year, although, for some reason, I didn’t do this in 2018. The only mistake I made was not checking my card stash as we have a couple of duplicates (although, we can just roll them over to 2020). I am going to log my cards in my bullet journal to keep track of them.

Half term is over for thr children and its back to school tomorrow, so thr pln for today is to get thr house back in order for the week ahead.

I netted a big saving this weekend, on laser hair removal, saving £1400 on the ‘normal’ price. I have been having treatments for a few years now and my last batch of treatments were coming to an end. The clinic I attend always has an offer on, which is handy.
  • Chanie that was a huge saving on the laser hair removal. :D

    Thanks sugar.

Double saving today. Tesco were selling Easter eggs half price at 75p each. I also had a club card voucher for £4, so paid £1.25 for 7 eggs.
