I picked up some Xmas wrapping paper and a little stocking filler for DS from Sainsburys, saving £8.10. I have bought the wrapping paper from Sainsburys for a few yeas now for 50p.0

£33 saved on 4 hair brushes in TK Maxx. I had heard good things about these brushes and so I was delighted when I saw them in TK Maxx for less than half thr RRP. So, delighted I bought a couple to give as gifts.0

I’m off work for the rest of the week, having been in work in between Xmas and the new year. Looking forward to spending a few days with the children. I will probably take them out somewhere, but I am looking forward to a nice relaxed few days.0

I saved £16 today on some presents in Sainsburys today. One item was a unicorn hottie, which was reduced from £10 to £3. Whilst I was looking at them, a fellow shopper commented that she had paid full price for it a few weeks ago.
One thing I need to get back on this year is packed lunches for work. I have fallen off the wago big time, so I really need to get more organised.0 -
Saved £11.60 today on some more sale items from Sainsburys (in addition to what I bought yesterday). This includes a couple of spare gifts for when thr children get invited to party’s. But if not, I can make use of the items at Christmas.
I also had a few deliveries today. One was a dress for work. I ordered it before Xmas, but delivery took ages, so I asked for a refund of my delivery charges, which they agreed to. I also bought a back pack for DD, in the sales. We left the children’s old backpacks on holiday over the summer. I still need to get DS a new backpack. Those two items saved £23,950 -
I have a week off next week, before I start my new job and I have been planning a few (frugal) activities to keep my occupied, including a groupon facial and an IKEA breakfast. I also have a couple of books to read and may try a few new recipes as well.
I recently bought 2 Groupons (one for my facial and the other for afternoon tea) and saved £50 on the two, so I have added those to my tracker.
Hope everyone is well.0 -
