    I learned from here :)

I was issued two in asda a couple of years back. I saw the guy issuing them, went up and asked it it was a fine or an invitation to pay. He said an invoice, so I said cheers, I don't wish to pay and gave him back both tickets :)

    Never heard another word

However trying to educate people on this is so difficult. I have many many friends who just cough up :(

Yup, this is a brilliant site, brilliant people and it is so sad that people are still being ripped off

I am in England where the fight is severe with thanks to the idiots at the DCLG.

But a few weeks ago I was in a M&S store where the plebbies Euro Car Parks operate. What looked like a tramp in a yellow jacket was pointing his camera at number plates.
The tramp did mine so I took a picture of him, he asked what I was doing and I said I have a web site to expose parasites.

I then went into M&S and before shopping told them to put out on the PA system that there was a tramp looking around the cars, they did, mass exit from the store.

I said to the manager that if he wants me to spend money, the tramp should be kicked off the site, did not see the tramp again but of course he was a Euro Car Park plebbie

There are many ways to "skin a cat" as they say, the pointer in England and Wales is to ask the store manager a simple question

"WHY SHOULD I SPEND MONEY IN YOUR STORE WHEN YOU EMPLOY SCAMMERS IN YOUR CAR PARK"

    Yayyyy good for you :T

Lidl have just invited them into their shared car park. And here's the rub, it's not a private car park, it's council owned, and is free, Yet people are being conned into paying up

Luckily a few local road/traffic groups are spreading the word

I often worry that Lidl are somewhat backwards in actually understanding what good customer service is
It is said that that Lidl actually take the profit of parking tickets so all over the UK they boost their profits which makes them and Aldi, the most expensive supermarket, that's what people need to know.

Had to smile tonight when watching BBC Watchdog that between Lidl, Aldi and Iceland ..... Iceland came out tops.
  • Hi

Is the same with the UK parking control ltd in northern Ireland

    Thanks

Any NI private parking tickets can be ignored.

    Merry Christmas!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

There's no need for a long post for NI

private parking companies have no jurisdiction here

Unless a ticket for any parking contravention ( made up or otherwise) is issued by the red coats or the police, you ignore it

Okay guys, just received a letter from UCS (Ultimate Customer Solutions) regarding the PCN. It states that the DVLA have released my details under Regulation 27 (1)(e) of the Road Vechicle (Registration and Licensing) Regualtions 2002. The letter was sent to an old address and had to be passed onto me.

They are now wanting £160 in the next 14 days or 'further action may be taken and we will seek our clients instruction'.

Any further advice you could give would be great, I'm in panic mode again!

    simple answer

    IGNORE

    its as easy as that

always , always , ALWAYS ignore the debt collectors in N.I. and in Scotland too

same goes for england and wales - they are powerless and can be treated with contempt

UCS = DEBT COLLECTOR = IGNORE
