Why does the British motoring press hype the Ford handling?

They target people with more credit cards than sense, who can't drive and need an "ultimate driving machine" to stop them crashing
The Mondeo is cheaper, it's been called the "anti-BMW" by motoring press, it's better equipped as standard, cheaper to run, cheaper to service and cheaper to insure.
Mine is somewhere near mid-spec and it's like driving a freakin space shuttle, I don't even know what half the stuff does and I still haven't gotten around to setting up the radio or the bluetooth stuff. Only downside is the lack of attention to detail in areas where owners don't normally look and the 2 litre petrol sounds a bit gutless.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

LOL - having owned and driven plenty of both I can safely say that statement is nonsense.0 -

Festool are better than Black and Decker, they target a different customer base. What's your point?0 -

But having owned neither (fantasy car is an Alfa this time, isn't it?) you are, once again, guessing.
And you guess wrong. Horses for courses, both Fords and BMWs have their pros and cons. For example, which BMW people carrier is best instead of a Galaxy?0 -

And which BMW's have a heated front screen?0 -

Yes I think the Mk3 Mini has but I was on about 'proper' BMWs.0 -
Have you watched the new top gear?
Clarkson was quite praising of something called a "Focus RS".
Didn't post as good laptimes as BMWs offerings though, but I suspect it is half the price. The Mustang looked good, apart from the colour (same could be said about the RS though).I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
