Im not condoning dangerous behavior. Just stating the mindset that some people end up in, which causes them to do mad things. Its a good idea to try to mitigate the risks by yielding.

But you seemed to be talking about your own mindset, not other people's. I quote:

"When im stuck behind a dawdler I get absolutely tampin mad. Whether this is on the road, on my push bike or on foot, dawdlers drive me insane. For this reason it is often safer to drive faster, within reason. Its a psychological thing AFAIK."

Hence my suggestion that you seek help.

Get yourself a dashcam so you can post the footage in here. I got one for Christmas and can't wait for my first crash! :D:D

On the rare occasions that I do overtake on single track roads I often end up caught at traffic lights with the person I'd overtaken earlier coming up behind me anyway.

It's mainly beneficial on country roads where you're not stop/start driving IMO.

I find it mildly irritating being stuck behind a slow driver i.e. someone doing 40mph in a 60 zone even though conditions are good.
    What will your verse be?

    Oh.

I have always been crap at trying to get a point across.
Sometimes my advice may not be great, but I'm not perfect and I do try my best. Please take this into account.
