You informed the reason for the shared account was....I share a bank account with my sister purely because we both don't handle money well
I'd suggest you get some continuity.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -

They might well consider that you're living with a partner - most people don't share a bank account with a sister.0 -
Did the personal loan go into your bank account? They may have questions as to why you have received a (relatively large) amount of capital, even if that left your account quickly.
Make sure you have paperwork available to show it was a loan, and where that money has gone to.0 -
I suggest you gather the following
Copy of your birth certificate
Copy of your sisters birth certificate (will prove you are sisters not partners)
Does your sister work? if yes copies of her wages slips to prove that money going in is hers.
How much was the load for? This may have flagged something. Get a copy of agreement for loan and if it was a large amount copies of receipt that you spent it on.
Take someone with you to the meeting.0 -
True they don't but there's no problem with me having an account with her unless it's just flagged because they don't know she's my sister?
Also both things I said were true as to why I have the account. I couldn't get one on my own with the bank and have since kept it and not got my own because we both don't handle money well and it's easier to manage while living at the same house.
I got the money cash in hand and deposited it and it was a personal loan of £400 would that be classed as income? I've never had a problem from getting a personal loan before.0 -
Okay I'll tell her to take her birth certificate and change of name she's my half sister. She is currently claiming a benefit too right now so no wage slips. Again loan was a £400 which she got one too in her name and I deposited the money into the bank at the same time but I do have the loan agreement to show mine was only £400.0

If you can prove where the money came from it will not be classed as income. Who have you got a cash loan from and what paperwork do you have to support it?0 -
I got the loan from a place called morses club and I still have the loan agreement that I signed on the 8th of this month.0

Without the proof/paperwork that it is a loan. then yes it could be. They don't know where the money came from if it was deposited by yourself, you could have got it from working for all they know.
Have you had other cash personal loans you have paid in, in the past? I would try to find the paperwork for these as well as this could be what flagged something.
Try not to worry to commit fraud you have to have intentionally done something wrong, you haven't you just need to tell them the facts and take as much proof with you to back up your case as you can.0 -

Can you get her copy of the agreement for her £400, this would help.
Next time it might be better if you both pay in your own amounts separately.
Have you both got a letter or only you? As she is on benefits as well and they have spotted something they want to check it seems odd that only you have one.0
