Thanks Louby! So far so good, having the app and the numbers on my phone makes it so much easier to see whats what and it's natural to want to look at that rather than the online bank!!

Nothing much to report, just been working although I'm off now for 3 days.. off to see one of my longest friends tonight we don't see each other often but when we do we just pick up where we last left off and boy do I need it.

Mum and I are going out for lunch Thursday and she's coming here for a few hours so that will be nice, she's only been to visit once and that was for 10 mins and she was with her bf (he's not a nice man but that's another story).

Still trying to find a second job or something to fit in with work, it's so hard coz at times I feel like I could easily do loads of extra then other times I'm totally wiped out and exhausted and I don't know if it will be worth it.

    Roll on pay day..

  • Productive morning even tho I haven't got up yet (shameful I know).

Had an absolute blast last night we laughed so hard we cried, I'm still in a dark place mentally but she has been through the same sort of thing last year she gets it, she gets me.. I have no idea why we click like we do but we just do and to have someone like her in my life I'm forever grateful!

So I got home fairly late and have got a stinking head and period pain hence why I'm still in bed.

I have however changed my broadband package saving my £5 a month, I also hadn't realized I still had a data add on with my phone so I have removed that saving me £10 a month.

Hoping these small things will add up.

Have a good day everyone :)

Wellylass! When I was bed-bound and bored whilst BF was at work I did loads of user tests, I've been doing the usertesting for quite a while and they even sent me a really expensive camera to do them with after I'd completed 3 or 4. Give https://www.usertesting.co.uk a try.. You have to have your computer loaded up and listen out for the gong sound when a test becomes available as they disappear in a matter of seconds if you aren't quick enough.

Thanks Sauce I will give it a go!

Not much to report it's been pay day, did my food shop Saturday then went out on a date on Saturday evening.. had a really lovely time, I'd like to see him again but I'm not putting too much pressure on it.

Trying to boss YNAB but I keep messing up its so frustrating I need to work out how to use it properly.

From now I'll be working every weekends we are so short staffed, will mean around an extra 200 quid a month which will make a big difference I hope.. feel like I'm still getting nowhere.

Last day off before I'm back at work tomorrow. Just put some flapjack in the oven and have done a load of washing.

The guy wants to go on another date, this will be our 3rd so, so far so good..

I've given up my expensive red bull and rubbish habit, I coudn't believe how much I was spending on this and that stuff I didn't really need.
Now I think do I really need it instead of just mindlessly spending.

    I will get sorted.

My god I haven't updated in ages.. so here goes..

All going well with the guy he's lovely..

    Money side not so good..

Electric has gone up an extra £10 a month, I've realized how expensive it's been shopping at Mr Ts.

Work is stressing me out so much at the moment, we are so short staffed and I'm exhausted completely exhausted and I feel like I've let my eye off the ball with money and I really need to get back on it.

I've put in car insurance and home insurance but I have paid these annually and I'm saving £50 per month through my work scheme which will pay for these next time.

£1200 is the bare minimum I get, I usually get a bit more and recently have done alot of overtime so I have had extra although that is finishing this month. Any extra I do get will be going to pay off the card this is 0% for 20 months.

    Any other advice much appreciated.

Hey Wellylass! Good to see ya!

Looking at your SOA it seems your car HP is the biggest 'luxury' expense in terms of bills going out each month, you pay more for your car than for your groceries. Is it on an HP scheme or PCP (if so, will you have a balloon payment at the end)? xx
