Well it's been a while!! Hello!

I've been so busy with life I haven't had chance to update this in ages...

I'm still living in my flat and I still adore it! I have no plans on moving just earning more and paying off my debt.

Tesco raised my limit on my card to £3300 and made it 0% until 2019. So I transfered the balance from the Halifax card onto the Tesco card so now it's all 0%.

I also bought a new (to me) fairly new car. It's financed and a payment each month but a car is an essential to me, some people will disagree but there you go.

Will do an updated SOA now and try and explain a bit further.

I've been off for a few days back at work tomorrow. I'm looking for a second job still but I need something thats going to be worth it as in I don't want to be having to do almost full time hours for it to be worth it after tax etc. It's also proving hard working a two week rota I can't do the same days every week.

On the plus I'll have been at the hospital a year in a few weeks so I'll be going up an increment on the band..

I've had a look through my things and I have nothing left to sell, have looked through my bills and can't reduce anything else aside from the food shopping so I guess it's just gonna be sit tight and do what I can.

Just paid £200 off the credit card.. more than I usually can pay but it all adds up! So that will be down to £1700.. in my head I've broken it down focusing on paying off the £700 so it seems less daunting.

I've had a day off today so I did some washing and got it dried. I went to town and bought a few essentials, I spend the afternoon making and baking. Made 10 corned beef pasties and some butterfly cakes.
I've really got into cooking and baking again just lately I'm really enjoying it.

I made the decision to delete my social media accounts for the time being, I find a lot of stuff really triggering and it's unbearable at the moment so I'm finding it easier without it.

Nothing to add to the debt bit yet hopefully more to pay off at the end of the month.

Time to chill this evening before being back at work tomorrow x

  • Well done on paying £200 off your credit card - that's fab :T
  • Well off again for a couple of days.. I'm currently working out all being well how much I'll be able to put away at the end of the month for Christmas.
I'd love to just chuck it at the card but I know I need to have something sorted for Christmas too.

Still looking for a second job, currently also reading up about matched betting seems you can make a bit of money but don't feel like I understand it enough to make any decisions yet.

Have put the winter duvet on the bed got the summer one to use as a blanket on the sofa the heating is staying off for as long as possible!!

  • I've done something I've been toying with for a while and I've bought YNAB, I've read many good things about it and I think it will be what I need to get me to realize what I actually waste my money on.

    So here goes..
