I am the same Wellylass i have days when i feel on top of the world and loving life! then i have a day where i feel so lonely and lost :(

You will get there though, well done on £400 off a CC that is fab!

Thanks Jacko.. Hope your ok? I'm glad I'm not alone although it's not a nice feeling! It's so strange as I'm quite happy with my own company, I do my own thing.. it just seems to be having someone who got all of me if you get it.. guess it leaves a void, we were so alike and just got each other. It's a shame but sometimes it's just not meant to be.

Yeah I'll be buzzing if I can get that much paid off, my mate paid off next month then I might feel like I'm getting somewhere :)

On my first of 3 days off... have had a lie in, woke up with a killer headache just had breakfast which has helped.

It's a glorious day so have done a few loads of washing and am going to go for a walk then I'm going to have a sort out of some stuff and have a good clear out :)

Updated my SOA, doesn't leave much left over every month. Desperately need to find another job but finding something to fit in around my silly shifts is really annoying. Oh well least when I find something my bills won't go up as I'll never be here!

The stark reality I'm never going to be able to afford to buy a house..

Thanks Sauce.. Just been busy busy at work.. have got 2 more days in then I'm off for 26.. off lambing for 2 weeks from the first of April which I'm really looking forward too.. Nothing much to report on the debt front..

Hoping I can pay £300 off at the end of the month although probably be less as ball joint is knocking on the car... Always something!!

Hello everyone sorry I have been MIA was busy lambing then been working and well not alot else really!!

So since last month, the £400 I was going to pay off the card ended up being £200 I didn't want to leave myself short if anything unexpected came up. So hoping to pay off another £200 and the end of this month maybe more?

I have paid back two friends one who helped with my deposit here that was £440 and another mate £100 who I had owed for a little while.

My total debt as of now all together is:
    £4551
that's down £879 ish since I started this diary in December last year which isn't too shabby!!

Hope you all have a good weekend!

Welly lovely to see you posting. Your debt is down so that's a fabulous achievement!

Do you do any surveys or anything? That can generate a bit of extra money or vouchers which all helps. I do this postal thing where I recieve letters that I send back, I get £5 a month or so for doing that, not a lot but it's better than nothing. YouGov give you £50 once you get to 5000 points, again it can take 9 months or so to get there but it's easy to do.

Hello Louby, thanks for the reply sorry it's taken me so long to write again was going to the other day but got distracted..

No I don't do surveys or anything I should look into these things.. this month is going to be really tight, I need to find ways of making a bit extra or something. My new hours will be better at work so more days off to do other stuff and 4 more hours every other weekend on weekend pay so that will make a little bit of difference.

I just want rid of my debt, I keep looking at my spreadsheet trying to find ways to cut down but I can't.. the house bills are all as low as I can get them.. any ideas welcome..

Well I've not had a great few weeks, ended up in A&E last Thursday with terrible abdo pain, they gave me painkillers and discharged me.. I managed the night but was in absolute agony, I went to the GP Friday morning and got admitted to hospital via the GP.

I spent 4 nights in hospital off my face on morphine and a cocktail of other drugs, had a CT scan Saturday which revealed some tiny kidney stones in my right kidney.

They tried to tell me this was the cause of my pain (I understand how painful they are) however the pain I have is in my lower left side. The pain never really went in spite of the drugs and me complaining crying and begging them to do and ultrasound they discharged me on Wednesday morning, with an outpatients ultrasound appointment.

Luckily the ultrasound appointment was yesterday and I got the results from the doctor afterwards fortunately/unfortunately it was completely clear which is great except I'm still in total agony que me complaining once more to the doctor so I now have to wait for an appointment for a flexible sigmoidoscopy as they believe it is my bowel so waiting to see how that goes and trying to get on top of the pain it's exhausting!

I've also made a pretty big decision in the last few days I've decided I'm going to give up my flat and go back to renting a room.. running this place on my own is proving too expensive, I can afford it but only just. I don't have enough left over each month to pay extra off my debts or save for an emergency fund and I just feel like I'm wasting money.

Being able to rent a room means I should be able to save around half my wage each month this means my debt will be cleared in no time and I can start saving for a deposit on a place of my own eventually and to be honest I think I will enjoy the company and security of living with someone else again.

So the hunt is on to find a room to rent and to start selling some stuff and hand in my notice as my lease is up next month.

That sounds like a good plan Welly. At least you can save a bit and get your debts under control.:T
