The problem is which bank a proud Christian would choose instead?

    I'm struggling.

Regardless, the point here is that HSBC is operating in a Christian country but is playing the political correctness game by denying the heritage of that country.

Alternatively, you could see it as HSBC who have customers from various faiths (and no faith) sending out a letter which is as inclusive as possible.

Do you really want your bank knowing what religion you are so that it can send you appropriate messages?

Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.

I love to see believers in any organised religion tie themselves into knots trying so hard to be offended. Half the time they have no idea what it is that really offends them.
