Really interested to see your additional earnings accrue.  When I decided to take slightly early retirement I said that I would use my additional time to make our money work hard for us and earn bits and bobs as and when.  I wish I'd tracked it but it's been lucrative and fun.  I really like Chase and the cashback, and round up feature as well as the boosted savings accounts,  Between us we've sold a fair bit on bay of e and vinted which has helped us clear out lots of junk or unwanted treasure however we chose to categorise it.  I recently moved an ISA from one account to another within the same building society which will give me an additional £107 over 12 months for 5 minutes admin time,

I am the same I am constantly trying to make my money work harder. If i make a purchase and i can click here and there extras its really nice.

Vinted is a brilliant one I have made a fair bit on there this week.

I use my chase card for fuel and shopping and day to day bits. I used to use tesco to buy petrol and get club card points etc but i have recently found  an app a petrol station where petrol at a Jet station is 129.9 which beats Tescos 133.9 pl.

@blackcats check out Atom bank they have some savers pay 4-4.15  percent i dont know what your isa is paying?

Okay so re my week its being a tad of a busy one with work, i did some shift swaps for colleagues so ended up doing 6 night shifts in 7 days never again lol.

Re earnings from extras this last week to ten days has being awesome.

top cashback i got 27.09 for a hotel stay me and the missus did ages ago. That was straight into bank of me a week ago ish. And i click 2.25 cashback from Superdrug for some nappies/baby wipes we bought

I have had since my last post 2 curiouscat payments

    1.32 and 1.06

Vinted this week has being brilliant my missus sold a pair of walking trousers to small
    20quid

We also vinted a scary weird white noise sheep machine for the lil one 28.50. It made my lil girl scream.

and a pair of ladies maternity pj's went for  3quid on vinted

and i sold a set storage cubes on vinted where i had bought the wrong size 4.50.

And i have had chase cashback 1.27

sooooooo thats by my maths 88.99 in a week to ten days and its cost me nothing bar a tiny detour on the way home from the gym to an inpost locker. And parcels we have sent we have reused old boxes, packaging stuff has come in to us.

    Total extra earnings since    7/10/25
    £101.06

Guys if i can do this anyone can, in less than a month 100quid plus, imagine that say 80-90  off your debts and say 10-20 in an emergency fund or saver.

My aim by the first of December is hopefully 175-200.

  • Another nice quiet day today my o/h had our lil girl this afternoon while i went for lunch with my work mum. My o/h cost me 6 quid for a box of chocolates mind.

We have an ice cream parlour next to us run by an Italian family, the lady who runs it is lovely. My other half was passing it and the lady asked for a hold/cuddle of our lil girl. Our lil girl projectile vomited all over her. We feel awful as our lil girl isnt usually sicky but i dont know what it was but she fairly puked on the lady. Net result tescos finest thorntons chocolates bought as a sowi and i am gunna take them round tomorrow.

On the money front from curious cat i dropped £1.23
    kerching.

Lunch wasnt a major spend 35quid.

    Earnings since 7/10/25

Well I have just got home I am absolutely wrecked. I drove to Maidstone Kent to see my lad on Friday afternoon and I have just completed the 340 mile drive home.

I have spent a fortune on fuel/beers/meals out and the hotel, about 500 on the whole weekend. It was brilliant seeing my son but i wish he didnt live so far away.

How the hell are petrol stations down there able stay open i passed one the  a229 road i think it was and it was 163.5 pl for petrol and 177.9 for diesel. gerrrrr luckily with my petrol station finder app i found one with petrol for 135.9. My Seat Ibiza is canny for juice i think i averaged 52.7mpg going on the way back 56.9mpg and my car doesnt go over 70mph 😉

I need tourist recommendations if i go again, i stayed at a Village hotel for the second time and i dunno just a vibe i didnt like.  The staff were a bit snotty, breakfast wasnt worth the extra 10 quid per night, and the gym/sauna pool bit i wasnt impressed. Plus the room lets just say the cleaners in there suck, glass/mirrors not cleaned, a mankey shower base etc etc

  • Well the weekend for us has being hard our little gaffer has gone from sleeping from 830pm to 5am, to that lush sleep regression stage. At night she now wont sleep more than 2 hours and we are both wrecked.

I have some leave in at work which is a godsend back Thursday.

    Surveys i have done nothing.

I clicked 49p cb from chase today and vinted 20 pounds for some baby bits we sold.

All i have now is a loan to my other half which i am paying her 300pm. And i have an emergency (barclaycard forward) cc which is my fuel and treats and hopefully credit rating building card.
