  • Well today i am working last night shift of 4 i have had a great few days, my money situation is absolutely dire roll on payday. The joys of being off work my pay this month was down 350. Surveys and selling a few bits on ebay has kept me a float just.

    I have sold a kilt lol 10quid
some clothes i had bought which werent my size.
And an internet dongle box 110 quid.

I should hope have that money in soon but i am using a friends ebay account and they are hopeless at sending the cash over quick.

Survey wise today has being steady i have had a few very small payments in off qmee i am up around 2quid ish. I am also sitting waiting on 25 quid coming in from Opinium Research still which known my luck will hit on my payday.

I cant wait to finish work this morning i live in a shared house and builders have being knocking it too holy hell the last few days i am sleep deprived to hell and my mental health is stuffing. Role on 645 and getting to the gym.

  • Ugh sooner you than me working night shifts, and especially when there's lots of noise going on to disrupt your sleep too - what a nuisance! Glad to know the surveys are still proving steady for you though!

Once there gone i will pay her morethis has allowed me to blitzey blitzey debts step change I am paying just over 850 pm but soon everything will be gone. Debt free before Xmas sounds absolutely ace.

I am hoping to get down too objectively zero before Xmas in November me and my o/h are starting IVF round 2 which is costing us well alot. I met someone new in June 2022 and I am very much in love and happy again.

    Next announcement lol

I also have a wedding to pay for lol I got engaged in May  :)

The big day depends on well how ivf round 2 goes wish us luck. Cycle one was very hard but as a couple it stressed us to bits but it has made us stronger.

I am also on a training mission lol I want to look good in my wedding gear so the gym is getting hammered. I am also working with a guy re my nutrition I have to do a check in every week. Dreading this weeks as my other halfs niece was up for 4 days, my 4 days off my macros were not on point. I normally train 4-5 days a week, this week i have being to the gym once.

Survey wise yes people will ask I still do them but boosting my income i tend to just use Qmee/Curious Cat and Prolific Academic I can easily generate an extra 50-75pm. I do still use Ziffit occasionally my other half and me read a canny bit so we will once we have say a tenners worth of books stick them on there. I am devastated i took a hiatus from the forum i have just seen the £2024 in 2024 thread lol

  • Well its being a nice day for me what I have seen of it as I was on nights last night and again tonight.

I woke up and my oh had made us a nice Sunday dinner. We then just vegged and watched Netflix

I have 30 quid to go into the bank tomorrow from facebook market place sales i sold two sets of dumbells that were sitting there from covid days. That can go into the emergency fund/overpayment to step change fund. I have a savings account that I put in all of my decluttering money/survey money/cashback and once it hits 50quid step change get an overpayment.

Hay ho its work time yay

  • It's great to hear from you Scott, so happy that you have met someone and are getting married , plus trying for a family . How old is your son now ? I see you are still in the same job from the hours you are online. How is the job going ?
You have been through the mill over the years but it sounds like you are really happy and nearly debt free .
Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.

Yes debt free is coming rapidly thanks to my other half i have cleared about 9500 in 12 months, I was doing really well then 3 accounts came out of the wood work that I thought had being written off last December.

  • Just think where you would be though if your other half hadn't helped out and you hadn't reduced the debt so much.
