Another one cheering you on from the sidelines Scott - wish there was an easy fix, but for now you're doing all the right things. Following up with the GP, psychiatrist and keeping up to date with physio/ osteopath will all be helping, even if it's slowly.

I've been away so haven't properly caught up, but are you back at work? If not, what are you doing with your time that you'd normally spend exercising? Maybe introducing something new or getting out of a 'rut' if you're in one might lift your mood slightly?

Just an idea to consider :)

Yeah I am still off work, mental health wise I am okay but my back is crippling me. I have my gp thinks 2 tears in my back one lower middle the base of my back, and another just below my left lat. Net result i cant stand properly or walk properly.

I have maxed out all the private medical care work provide re my back ie osteopath physio. I am trying too sort something through the Bank Workers Charity (google it).

All I have being doing is surveys, reading and yoga each day. But I am not improving and its frustrating as hell. I cant even go swimming.

Not the best i saw a back specialist at the Nuffield on Tuesday. I had an mri and an xray done privately, I have a slipped disc and another thats bulging net result I have being put on Gabapentin and something called Baclofen for the pain. I am starting physio today at 10am. I have too have 5 physio sessions if that dont fix it i have too have 2 cortisone injections in the discs.

The nhs suck by the way my gp thought it was a fracture and he was looking at old fractures from 8-9 year back.
