Good work on the debt busting Scott.
I'm sorry to hear your feeling so low. Would it be worth having a chat with your HR department?

IMHO Your boss quite obviously hasn't got a scooby about MH issues, if he did he would have worded his response more appropriately, as I would have with any of my team to, "come back when you feel you are able to, don't rush. We / I will work with you to help you."
Thankfully, my company are both knowledgable and supportive.
Try and get a consultation with someone at your local CAB if they have folks who deal with employment issues, if you can...
I'll try and squeeze some more relevant info from my colleagues in HR on this if I can...
Hope everything works out for you mate

Well its not being a bad day 3200 points hit on Shoppix so that will be a fiver richer on paypal soon.
I have also had 2.50 hit from opinion outpost, Qmee has being quiet i have had a couple of small surveys.
Bar that today there is nothing else too report ohhhhh bar the dates were a waste of time. I am done totally done. I am abit miffed so i have bought myself a load of training and cycling gear 80quid gone just like that but i have got about 5quid worth of cashback off Wiggle and Ebay.0 -
Well people aren't going too be surprised at this post but i have found another market research survey app lol.
I was skeptical at first but it seems quite good, i have had 2 payouts on it since last night just a £1.28 and a £1.20. Its called Curious Cat, surveys are very like Qmee they range from 10-80 or 90 points. Once you hit 100 points plus you can draw down pointe into paypal and its dead straight forward 1point is 1p. Any survey you attempt and dont get through you get 1point.
Just thought i would share.0 -
Hi I am sorry this post is not massively finance based but I thought I would give an update re two things first how I am mental health wise, second how I am physically.
Mental health wise being truthful everyday at the minute is a fight, I hate spilling my guts this way but I feel an utter failure and I am having more low days than high days. I spoke with occupational health at work yesterday and they have referred me too a Psychiatrist as i still haven't received anything through from my gp and I have chased him. Occu health feel that part my problem is linked in with back problem I can manage my mental health well when I can exercise. At the moment I can barely walk right never mind swim/run/cycle or weight train. Occu health also feel that because its being so long since I had my diagnosis ie 2-3 years it maybe time too review it with a psychiatrist too check my gp has me on the right type of meds. I am going to go but I am worried every day is a constant at the minute with pain and low mood.
Re physically my back is goosed still I have had 6 private physio sessions, 6 osteopath sessions and i am no further forward. Last week my gp sent me for an xray and I am waiting on him getting back in touch with the results. Work want me too see a private back specialist but I am awaiting on my gp first.0 -
Hi Scott
I'm so sorry that you've been so low and I do hope your back has eased and you are feeling more comfortable. Hopefully you have now received your X-Ray results and have a date to see the psychiatrist.

Another one cheering you on from the sidelines Scott - wish there was an easy fix, but for now you're doing all the right things. Following up with the GP, psychiatrist and keeping up to date with physio/ osteopath will all be helping, even if it's slowly.
I've been away so haven't properly caught up, but are you back at work? If not, what are you doing with your time that you'd normally spend exercising? Maybe introducing something new or getting out of a 'rut' if you're in one might lift your mood slightly?
Just an idea to considerSealed Pot Challenge 075
