  • I'd like to join this. I'm setting down 2017 as my year to get debt free. I need to sit down and add up the totals which I'll do tomorrow. Not in a huge amount of debt but have got myself into a bit of a mess with payday loans.
£5850 away from being debt free.

    Hello!

Can I please join? I have my first child on the way which has finally caused my LBM (yippee!), I intend to pay off all of my debts by the end of this year (£3933.52).

    Thank you!
  • Hi Everyone!

Please can I join?! I consolidated my debts yesterday with a loan term of 15 months (end date April 18), but would love to pay it all off early before Christmas.
My plan is to pay off the debt whilst also saving for an emergency fund. I know everyone says not to have savings when paying off debt, but if I don't do it this way I know I will end up using my card when things crop up as I won't have the spare cash. If/when it gets to the point that I have enough in the savings account to pay off the debt, I will clear it. I have opened a 5% interest account.
I'm going to make my total to pay the loan amount including interest, then if I can pay it off early I can reduce the total.

So my total is currently: £0/£8276.55

My first direct debis is due in a month.

    Hope this is all ok?
