    Hi all

Some amazing debtbusting going on on this thread, well done everyone!!

I have been following but haven't overpaid much of my loan so keep forgetting to post my total.

    #44 £2852.01/£16000

Still, with the limited overpayments I've made so far I've managed to shave two months off the length of the loan, and now I have a bit of a wage buffer to "pay" myself a consistent amount at the end of each month (am paid weekly in one job, monthly in the other) I can start throwing any extra I earn at the debt.

Hope the day's as lovely with you as it is here  xx

Just the minimum payment for my 0% CC this week, we got an offer on the flat yesterday and it wasn't quite enough so we've gone back with a counter offer, hopefully this'll all be sorted soon and I can really start throwing some serious money at my debts!

Really happy to have paid off over £900 now and to be back in the £3000's instead of 4 though :)

Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭

I miscalculated last month's total, but in my favour.

After a bit of bonus Birthday Booty Money, I am pleased to say:

#53 DEBT PAID OFF IS £878.61/£1500 which I think is about 58.57%!

Just paid another £459.72 - the extra over and above my monthly salary in my repayment pot -so new total is:

    #44 £3331.73 / £16000

    please Muppets.

I've also just requested a cash transfer from my idle Barclaycard, 1.9% transfer fee that will still save me £200 in loan interest once I factor in said fee, and on 0% for a year. I know it's borrowing from Peter to repay Paul, but apart from the money I'll save, the psychological effect of getting the loan below £10k will be enormous!
