I'm not surprised about the break up to be honest. The good thing is that it was amicable, no hard feelings.

Good luck with the assignment :)

    No SA, neither am I!!

Managed to get my assignment sorted on time; I have another in a month so I'm just planning that one out as well. I've got a lovely trip planned to the seaside with another recently-single friend and we're going to play on slot machines, eat fish and chips and lemon-top ice cream.

And if it rains there'll be no one else there. Bliss!

Ugh I have the WORST cold; I'm headachey and muscle achey and nose-bunged-uppy and all manner of other annoyances. Still, I think today is probably the worst of it, hopefully I'll feel better for the seaside tomorrow. Would be awful if not!!

money-wise I'm ok, have been paid by the charity so i'm keeping some back in case it looks like I'm in danger of going into my overdraft but with a hope to have enough left to maybe get a loan overpayment in this month.

:( Hope you feel better soon. Hope you manage to enjoy the seaside - the sea air will be good for your cold.

    Hi SA and everyone,

Thank you! I'm fine, I got the worst out of the way on Saturday and then did indeed enjoy the sea air! Also spent a ridiculous amount of money in the 2p machines, but it was all budgeted for and the amount of tat I won will work nicely as Christmas presents and stocking fillers for various family children...

Hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend!!

    Hello everyone!

I haven't updated in a little while because I am *so busy*!

My colleague's last week before maternity leave is next week, so we're rapidly trying to develop a handover plan. I have 19(!!) hours teaching in sessions next week, which is absolutely ridiculous, and also I'm having a nightmare with one of the lodgers from the charity.

AND my next assignment is due on the 30th and I've barely written a word!!

Overall, I've been far too busy to think MSE... hopefully I'll be back when it dies down!

  • Wow! You’ve certainly got a lot on your plate! Look forward to your posts once things have calmed down. Hope the pesky lodger is sorted out!

Hello lovely I am pretty sure I posted AGES ago on your diary. I've been absent from MSE as my phone/internet doesnt like MSE. I think you sound fantastic. I noticed your mortgage is on 3.99% have you moved on to a lower fixed rate on that one? That'll save you loads of money long term.
You put me to shame with all the things you manage to do. Something had to give and I think the bf was the right choice. You have so much power and love inside you youre going to find it hard to find someone who deserves you and can keep up with you! You are a very special kind of person - you have lots of love and patience in your heart and your fantastic at sharing it out.
Keep your chin up you're doing amazing xxx
