Husband's lost his wedding band!

Options
After only 10 months of marriage, my husband lost his palladium wedding band :( I’m upset, but he did really try hard to look for it and it's not like he did it on purpose.

The question now is whether to purchase a replacement. I’m kind of of the mind that any other ring has lost the meaning that it’s the ring we got married with, so I’m tempted not to bother.

I’m curious what other people would do?

You've posted this in the PPI forum

I'd suggest one of the 2 below would be better

If you're considering a claim on house insurance:

The Insurance & Life Assurance Board

    Or for the relationship side:

The Marriage, Relationships & Families Board

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

  • Sorry. It is possible to redirect the thread? Or do I just start a new one? Thanks

  • Make sure he checks all his gloves as I once lost (and subsequently found) a valuable ring there. Only after raking half the garden of course! I hope you find it.
