"Technical problem" opening Nationwide account

    Wife just tried to set up an account in her name. Exactly the same again!! Apparently hit with a credit search, but no account opened - "try again later". That's it - giving up. Will look elsewhere now. I wouldn't have minded the interest on 2.5K. Might even have moved to them as the primary current account longer term. Not now.
