Right to buy process

I have had a lady visit from council and I have filled out RTB1 form, they have taken details of all previous places lived and I have signed to declare never bankrupt etc.

My question is

Is there a decision made later which could a a "no" to right to buy? or does this sound like next step is a valuation form council?

Thanks

Is this your mother's bungalow that you don't want to live in but fancy the discount?

I would be very surprised if you have the right to buy bungalows for disabled people?
  • I remember my good friend marksoton and his friends. Who feel strongly about a government scheme and yes we are all entitled to our opinion.

Well, so I have applied and I wondered about the process as the very nice person came out from the council, seemed to give my mum and me the impression the next step was a property valuation and mentioned we would get a maximum discount.

So wondered if anyone had this type of talk on initial meeting, as to me would be strange to start talking about discount and property prices before a yes or no.

Your kinda right, but instead you have probably been drinking what marksoton drinks

It's the place I have been living in all my life with my mother, so I do already live in it and want to live it. And given the opportunity I will extend it.

You never did come back to that thread to answer the questions asked by those of us who had serious concerns about your mother's future security if you bought the house.

so you had the opportunity to ask the council when they were in your presence

you also still have the opportunity to read about RTB on the internet as "process" is simply a question of fact and facts are explained on very many websites without needing to reinvent the wheel

No, because some people here like to answer questions asked backed by hate they have for a government scheme they don't agree with. That is quite pathetic.

I do not need to prove myself for any of you. If you can't answer my questions in a polite way without steering towards your hate for RTB scheme then take your thoughts to the government and try to change the scheme.

I'm sure if marksoton can detach himself from his little keyboard he could lead you all on a march!
