    Lol funny video.

It is hard to say exactly what mileage the car is but for certain it's over 200k so I guess by bring it down it allows him to get a good amount as apposed to banger prices

Is this the car you were looking at -

    https://www.gumtree.com/p/seat/2012-seat-alhambra-lux-executive-sharan-2.0-tdi-leather-navi-pan-roof-rev-camera-etc/1203568393

If so, I'd have to agree! MOT history shows the following -

05/2012 - 0 Miles (Registered on this date)
    09/2013 - 59,511 Miles (+59k)
    09/2014 - 114,236 Miles (+55k)
    09/2015 - 170,133 Miles (+56k)
    12/2016 - 174,454 Miles (+4k)

So after averaging +56k a year, all of a sudden it does 4k in 15 months? Any explanation for that?

After three years as a taxi, which is why it'll have had MOTs every year from birth, it'll have gone to auction, where it will have sat around for a while because it's got knocking on for 200K miles on it. It'll then have been bought cheap, and sat around on a dealer's or several dealers' forecourts for a while before perhaps being sold to the sort of person who doesn't mind a high-miler because they only do low mileage, thereby evening the score over a few years ownership.

It's not been clocked. Why would you bother clocking it back to 174K? Even if it'd done 200K you'd only add a couple of hundred quid in value, and it's already several thousand quid overpriced so there's plenty of margin in it if they think they can sell it (unless they overpaid for it in the first place).

Certainly looks like it doesn't it.

It's in decent nick for a car with near 200k miles on, but it's still junk, if you ask me.

    However....
Bradford.....a full stop for a name.....

Looks suspicious, same phone numbers used on several selling platforms and the adverts have been removed.

Same car for sale on Gumtree in April and August? If not they are selling a few cars for a private seller.

Appear to be listing the same thing. But the adverts are removed.

More like a total Scam than a clocked car.

The reason for the same number appearing on other sites is because they are a trade seller (stated on their listings).
They have plenty of other vehicles on Gumtree, many of them also high mileage:

Not just Gumtree though, and they dont seem to know where they are. Are they in London or Bradford?
All cars appear to be taxed and in use?

Yes. I also know that in Dec 2015 it had nearly 184K and we are nearly a year on from that now, so it has been clocked. He said when he got it the speedo was broken so he got a new one n fixed it. To the mileage doesn't add up so I decline to buy it.
