The viewing selection on Prime is (to my mind) not as good as on Netflix, but combined with the free delivery I think probably is worth it. And if you watch through a Fire Stick then it also offers the ability to watch Netflix once you've paid the subscription, as well as a range of catch up services.

I have Mbam and get no warning.

Tested to ensure working by connecting to http://iptest.malwarebytes.org/. Warning received

False positive for you perhaps and it's still only potentially malicious at that. UK blacklist probably.

I have found the one month free trial quite useful in the run up to Christmas, have made sure It doesn't slip over into chargeable. But usually I make sure I get to the minimum spend for free delivery.

I think its well worth it.

Theres the free next day delivery - so no faffing about trying to find if other non Amazon suppliers (who don't have as good a returns policy) will do it for free postage, Amazon music free (which is pretty decent), Amazon Prime Video (which is pretty decent), theres a lot of Prime only deals too both during the year and for the Black Friday sales.

Its a bit of a no brainer for me.

We don't have a smart TV

Have you absolutely no other device capable of showing it? Tablet, smart phone, laptop, desktop PC, etc?

As has been said though i'd invest in a Fire Stick if I were you.

I have Amazon Prime now on a months free trial. I use the Amazon fire stick which was £24.99 from Argos. What I like best of all is the YouTube channel. Keeping this would be an important factor in deciding to pay the subscription.

The free postage is also a factor. I can buy things from Amazon for myself and also for a friend, and have it delivered to her address, free postage for both of us.

The TV content is incidental. I watch less these days (too busy with YouTube). But there is always something worth watching. Bit bored with Sky now.
  • I've bought into the amazon 'world' - firestick, fire tablet, Amazon Dot... so for my money the prime service is great. I get music, tv shows, movies, the odd free book, deliveries (inc. 2 hour deliveries) and cloud storage.

I've got Amazon music playing on my dot right now. I've got 120gb of family photos backed up on their cloud service. Yesterday I was watching a TV show on my fire tablet. My kids use the firestick daily.

You need to work out yourself if its worth it.
Remember the prime free delivery only applies to items sold by or fulfilled by Amazon so not everything you may buy.

For me its not worth it. My purchases are pretty much even between amazon and the marketplace (although i would generally favor supplied by/fulfilled by Amazon if i can). Either way i dont order enough (if i take away the greater than £20 free delivery anyway) stuff to make it worthwhile on postage alone.

Also i have tried the free trial and found Prime Video to be pretty shocking. Its fine for a month but then there is nothing worth watching and new stuff comes out so infrequently (or you need to pay an additional fee for it) its something i can definitely be without.

    #EDIT#
I should also point out that during my free trail(s managed to get a couple this year somehow) i did try to take advantage and order as much as i could. I found the 'next day delivery' promise to be pretty much BS. I cant remember a single item out of over a dozen that did arrive the next day. Most took a couple of days. A couple i even had to chase. Bearing in mind that the 'free' standard deliver option normally takes a couple of days i cant see how Prime is worth the money.
