Gold will soar tomorrow - buy, buy, buy!

Gold will be soaring, the Italians have voted no, so it's a new government, and that new government is committed to IEXIT.

This will be good news for all those REMOANERS, because BREXIT will never happen now. Isn't that good nes.

And why won't BREXIT happen? Well it's because there won't be time when the whole EU pack of cards collapses.

Cheers fj

I wonder how long the Greeks will hang on, you'd think they would bale out.

Just for the record, how do you even buy gold stocks (or any other stocks for that matter) as I never have.

Probably too late for me now!

Hoorah to the dispersal of the EU though, I will be very glad to see it go!

    Looks complicated lol!
  • It's "tomorrow" now, the gold market is open, and it's not really doing anything.

The price did spike at first, but now it's fallen back to what it was when the week ended. Too early perhaps?

I wasn't considering adding gold to my portfolio (very seriously at least), but I do have my eye on a couple of other asset classes that have fallen in value, and I might just buy something gold related as well today, but still having my doubts that gold is a good investment right now.

I suppose this news does add to market uncertainty, and the growing worry's over the potential breakup in Europe. It does seem almost inevitable that "populist" movements are going to continue to stir things up, and the price of gold seems certain to go up in parallel with that, and the uncertainty isn't likely to go away any time soon.

Those are all good reasons to buy gold IMO, but I'm betting that by the time my "buy request" gets through, the price will have already gone up significantly... I'm surprised it hasn't already!?!

I may just take a "punt" anyway. The extra portfolio diversification would be welcome, and I have had cash waiting for opportunities for some time now.

I think you will find it's just a change of Prime Minister.

    Gold at 7pm Friday, £924.50 /oz

Sunday night, Freddie tells is it will soar, buy buy buy.

By 9.20am Monday it has fallen to £917.

Thanks for your incisive political, economic and market commentary as usual Freddie.

    Cheers

Euroland stock markets did show falls in early trading, but have now recovered.

Basically a change of government in Italy happens so frequently that it doesn't do anything.

If you dont even know how to buy stocks and shares (pretty easy by phone or online) then you probably dont understand economics. So probably dont know what a hard brexit is and how that would affect the UK economy.

Yet you are still very glad about Brexit? Interesting.

Sure, some who understand do favor brexit, but many more who do, dont.
