How much can house prices keep rising ?

So, umm, how are you defining what it's worth?
The usual definition - and we're not just talking about houses - is what somebody is willing to sell for, and what somebody else is willing to buy for. There really aren't many other ways to define what something's "worth", unless you're trying desperately to prove some kind of political point.
Too simplistic, you have to include sentiment, credit availability and interest rates as well, and also IMO the proximity of the last crash. In this case the last crash is ancient history, and there is a whole generation who knows nothing about even mildly high interest rates. Perfect ingredients for a crash actually........0 -

Not at all - they're factors in what the vendor is willing to sell for, and what the buyer is willing to pay.and also IMO the proximity of the last crash. In this case the last crash is ancient history, and there is a whole generation who knows nothing about even mildly high interest rates. Perfect ingredients for a crash actually........

I'm not sure if it was ever 'exciting' but it was much more interesting years ago crashy, when I was trying to get to financial independence, but I'm long past the 'job done' stage now.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
