I ordered a Kitcen Aid food mixer in a specific colour on-line,on arrival JL had sent the wrong colour.
JL are now refusing to do anything about it,despite it being their mistake, the only option they have given me is a refund.
Just venting because I have always found JL to be excellent. Not on this occasion.Last time I order on-line from them.

I assume they dont have the colour you want?0 -
Do they still have the colour you want in stock? If not then what do you expect them to do?0

I dont understand. They dont have what you wanted so they are offering a refund? I see no problem.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

Sometimes it is quicker to refund you and let you re-order (assuming it was a mistake and not lack of stock of your colour) rather than faff about waiting longer for an exchange.
Ring your local store or go in and ask them - sometimes they can check stock in the other stores & get one sent to your store from there - it's worked for me before.0 -
Request a refund and rebuy the item in the right colour. Simples.0

Is the colour you wanted on sale at John Lewis? I can't see what the problem is otherwise0

I can only assume this is a joke thread or maybe MSE needs a new 'Silly Customers' section.I ordered a Kitcen Aid food mixer in a specific colour on-line,on arrival JL had sent the wrong colour.

Maybe this is the new 'meatballs' thread.
A refund is offered and that is deemed to be ' refusing to do anything about it'IITYYHTBMAD0 -
Or, JL could have advised the buyer, by whatever means, if it is the case, "we don't have x colour in stock, would y colour be acceptable?"0
