  • I can't remember where I looked last year (or the year before...), so can anyone suggest a comparison site for Landlord building insurance? It must have been on TopCashBack, but now I cannot find anything that rings a bell (and a couple of random quotes I got are much more expensive than what I was paying last year).
  • i use meercats for comparison every year for landlords insurance just in case i can find cheaper renewal than simply business quote

i think simply have  always beaten the comparison websites which is unusual in insurance

I am with Simply now, but I have run a new quote with them and the prices are astronomical. I have not received the quote for next year yet, but that is due in the next few days

  • i had to split my combined insurance up again this year

the value of the property does not match the insurance costs which i do not understand

in 2022 in did them individually as well so i know what i paid then
my cheapest property is valued at 100k insurance 2022 £109 this year £215
middle of range £300k paid £115 in 2022 this year £200
    my top priced 600k in 2022 £165 / and in 2024 it was  £206

they are all basic stripped down policies with no add ons at all ie no legal protection / no rent guarantee

    never made a claim ever
