No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries December 2016

Hello, I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and hasn't eaten too much! :rotfl:

I received a small handful of toiletry-related ins but all of my current UU items are very low down and I'm actually using them more just to UU them by the start of the new year, especially since some of them have been hanging around for quite possibly years! (I'm looking at you, wilko skin therapy cotton wool pads! ¬_¬)

I am now currently debating on writing up a complete list of everything I have as of the start of the new year(once current UU list will hopefully be finished) but not sure as that will then be my stash items that i'm waiting to move onto anyway.

Evening, hope everyone had a nice Christmas, lots of INs from my stocking so I was very good in the sales. I won't list the Christmas INs as so many but mainly small sizes from sets so will go fairly quickly.

We went away for a few days last week and had a lot of splutterers so have a fair few UUs:
Elemis pro collagen cleansing balm sachet x 2 - WMB as it seems on par with my usual eve lom
Bare minerals clay cleanser sachet -WNB hated this and broke me out.
Aurelia Miracle Cleanser 30ml - WNB but would keep if in a beauty box or GWP.
Garnier Fresh eye make up remover - WBA this worked absolutely fine especially for cost.
Boots essential cucumber cleansing wipes - WMBA these were better than the simple ones
Zara Joyful Tuberose 100ml - WBA fine for everyday use
Zara nude bouquet 100ml - WBA fine for everyday use
Estee Lauder modern muse le rouge sample - had a full size of this before WBA
Chanel no 5 sample - WNB prefer others more
My burberry black sample - WDBA GH
Garnier Weightless nourishing balm sachet - WNB this worked surprisingly well but left my hair greasier than my usual.
Bumble and Bumble thickening shampoo 60ml - WDBA a HG for me.
Peter Thomas Roth Mega Rich Conditioner 24ml - WNB left hair feeling greasy
Phytocitrus shampoo 50ml - WNB says it is for coloured hair but it stripped my colour worse than any other shampoo I have used of late.
Nuxe Shower Oil 30ml - WDBA i really liked this, if i ever get through the shower gel stash I would definitely buy one.
Aveda Stress fix body lotion 50ml - WNBA this was fine as a GWP but I don't like body lotion at all!

I was very lucky to receive all of those as gifts. I also got a bodyshop Frosted Berries shower gel when it was free for o2 customers. Have been very restrained in the sales, filling up my basket but dithering until they all sold out anyway!

Some good UUs there. What does GH mean next to the Burberry sample.

I used my Naked 2 palette for the first time yesterday. Lovely application.

I have another UU : L'Occitane shampoo. Think this is new HG. Have an eco bag to refill this bottle. This bottle lasted me 2 months with regular use.

I've this far resisted buying anything toiletries wise in the sale. Partly because the Lush website was a no goer!

Small sample of glycolic cleanser I forgot the brand! I think it was a mans name. Oh maybe Anthony! WMBA as seemed good for my spots but not sure how much it is etc....
Small sample of elemental herbology balancing oil cleanser WDB this is lush! When I next need a cleanser this is top of the list.
3x sachets of TBS miracle facial oil WB really nice
1 sample of Kheils midnight recovery WB used to use this was nice
Lush yoga bomb WNB not that wowed by it and not that into bath bombs
Lush sunnyside bubble bar WNB not that into citrus scents

It seems a lot of my lush ins were citrus and I'm less into them

I am hopeful of achieving 100 UU for the year, make up remover wipes have just 2 or 3 left in pack I think and 5ml Vichy filler will be cut open tomorrow:D:D

Palmolive exfoliating shower gel - WNBA not scrubby enough for my liking.
Garnier ultimate blends for coloured hair shampoo 10ml - WNB was alright and felt okay but I use Aveda so will stick with that.
Garnier ultimate blends for coloured hair conditioner 10ml - as above.
Boots georgeous feet foot scrub 150ml - this is a good product and smells nice but I believe it has been discontinued ages ago.
Boots cotton wool double faced round pads 100 - WBA like these as do not feel as rough as some of the cheaper ones

Hi everyone,

I used to post on here a few years back, nice to see some familiar names on here still and lots of new ones too.

I have been thinking about rejoining the challenge again as we head into a new year. Toiletries wise I'm not doing too badly but make up continues to be a problem. I am on a complete no buy for make up for 2017 unless I run out of something that I don't have a replacement for - the only thing this may happen with is concealer. I have spares for everything else.

I have started to go through my stash today and I have so many things that I have only used once and didn't get on with. I wish we could return beauty products like in the States.

I know we are all trying to reduce our stashes but I wondered if anyone would like any of these products, I am happy to send out for free to be honest as charity shops won't take things that have been used at all is my understanding. If no one wants them I will send to give and make up.

Need to go through everything properly but I have the British Beauty Blogger palette if anyone would like it? I have tried this twice but there are so many colours in it I won't use and I have so many eyeshadow palettes! Would rather someone was getting some use out of it!
