While no doubt you would love to know what happened, I genuinely believe I would have to be careful disclosing the information regarding my experience with police from back then.0 -
Well this thread went south quickly!0

I'll try and bring this back on point lol
I'm planning on going to the station next few days once i have written down exactly what happened to collect my thoughts.
But (assuming they were real cops) i wanted to ask if i wasn't given a caution (formal or informal), nothing was written down or signed, no NIP was stated, can i still be charged with dangerous driving or would it be careless with a fine etc?0 -

Yes, but you will need a written nip within 14 days of the allege that offence. So go in on the 15th day.0 -

I was left completely confused as i didn't understand what i was being charged for as they just walked off.0 -
I got stopped by a blue light on an unmarked car, years ago. I knew this guy had been following me for perhaps 2mls, and i knew i hadn't done anything wrong. When he put his light on, i was on a dark; narrow country lane. And i decided i wasn't go to stop in the middle of nowhere, no matter who he was. I carried on driving for over half a mile to where there were street lights, then pulled over. I just told them i didn't want to stop until i felt safe. He told me i'd been swerving side to side, had i been drinking. I told him i don't drink, and i knew that stretch of road which was full of potholes, so i'd been driving to miss them. There was no other traffic to endanger only him behind me. He just said Ok. goodnight.
I don't get stopped very often, although coming home in the early after a night shift on the Cab, i was pulled. ........ Single fella in the middle of the night ... he must have been drinking !!!! It never bothered me 'cos i thought if my car had been stolen i'd be pleased they stopped the thief.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
