Need a wireless printer for HP Envy laptop

I found the hyphen on the printer so was able to proceed and to a degree, success.
I can print from my ipad wifi to printer.
I can print from my iphone wifi to printer.
But I'm damned if I can print via wifi from laptop to printer, so clearly there is something I have omitted to do. If it is obvious to you, please tell me. Meanwhile I will have another go.
installed the driver software on the lappy? set the new printer as default?......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

Funny you should say that. I had NOT installed the driver software or registered but now have. I was asked to print the T&C off and it did. But as yet haven't been able to print off anything else as it appears to be doing something, but will work on it.

You need to cancel that unsuccessful print job and remove it from the print queue.0 -

Yes, I have now thanks and it appears to be working as intended. I think the hiccups were caused by me trying to rush, being old and not taking on board correct procedures etc. If I experience further issues, no doubt I will return.
