Hey all.
Won't be actively working towards a total this month as I'm currently back and forth to my parents as my dad is seriously ill and we're making the most of the time we have. Will try and keep up the good habits if even for distraction alone but if I go awol it's nothing personal! Should at least be around for the next week but in case plans change I wish all of you the best of luck for this month and a very happy (and merry) Christmas and New Year.

I've just tried to PM someone whose diaries I've posted on for years and who hasn't posted herself for a few weeks. I was just a bit concerned about her but when I tried to submit my PM I got the following message:
........has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.
I don't think she's blocked my PMs specifically:eek:, absolutely no reason to, we've often swapped friendly PMs before so I just wonder what might be going on. Aesop might know but I know she's really busy and doesn't post much these days.
the user has turned off their pms for some reason. nothing you can do except maybe post a message on their diary?0 -
I was ill for 2 weeks. so bad that I was getting dizzy stood in Aldi. not great when I had to drive home!
better now but been.busy with work and running around. DH being a pain as it's that time of year.
also been fighting with mobile x pression and bounts. wanted refund from bounts as their app has changed dramatically. given up trying to get that. as for mobile x pression! anyone with the app installed cash out and uninstall. they will rip you off for your vouchers.
I cashed out and never received mine and they have argued with me and someone else we were not submitting data! mum considering the phone is glused to my hand and I do a lot of searches use of social media, absolute tosh they weren't getting data.
but would recommend cashing out asap. will be leaving reviews etc as I told them I would tell swagbucks and inbox pounds to not promote their fake product anymore.
off to bed now. will try to post tomorrow /later today.0 -
Lots and lots of big squishy hugs Aesop - not sending you the dodgy emoji though.
Glad you're feeling a bit better.
DS is bound to be getting excited now, as only two weeks to go.
Soo sorry to hear about all the problems you've been having with various sites - it's the pits when they don't pay out as they have promised. Been caught a couple of times - shame really, as they taint the rest with their shoddy acts. Stick to the tried and tested eh.
Hope you have a truly amazing weekend and find time to chill a little.

Thanks for the kind words guys.
On a lighter note I notice 5p in the gutter as I got off the bus today. I then proceeded to wait until the traffic was clear before snatching that little gem up. The lengths we go to, eh?! :rotfl:#13 Make 2023 in 2023 - £2085.20/£2023#23 Save £8k in 2023 - £6642.66/£80000 -

Thanks, Aesop:T. She hasn't posted on her diary for 4 weeks now, either with new stuff or to reply to visitor's posts. She probably hasn't even visited it to read anything there.0 -

So sorry to hear that you've been ill, Aesop:(. We've missed you. Glad to know you are feeling better now though:j. Take care of yourself, you do too much rushing round helping everyone else. Big hugs and a nice hot drink coming your way:kisses3::coffee:
I hope everyone has a great weekend. If you are too busy and can't manage to make much money I hope you don't have to spend too much;)0 -
thanks carbootcrazy :A
having a nightmare with reverseadventcalendar and cubs. but Sainsburys donated 4 tins of nice stuff yesterday. coop are trying to send me the coupon they promised but still not arrived. I have a few bits at home that have dug out from my stash which is dwindling and will add those. Such a shame people aren't getting the concept or understanding what a difference it can make to people who probably live on basics all the time.
I just got a message from ebay saying my nectar/ebay offer was expiring. I dont remember previous emails so clicked through. You had to do 11 things, sell, buy, convert nectar points and buy with them, register for emails, buy something, and some other bits. so just did the last few that were outstanding and hopefully in Jan I am going to get a surprise present from ebay! hopefully a nice money off voucher code.
but being clever, I went through kidstart as they are offering 15% off ebay revenue and 10 nectar points for buying using my nectar card and buying through paypal, so although had to buy something I will get something back. plus it is father in laws xmas present bought lol.0
